Parte del gruppo  Energy and Infrastructure Analysis nella divisione Defense Systems and Analysis (DSA) a Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Part of the Energy and Infrastructure Analysis group in the Defense Systems and Analysis (DSA) Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her interests are cyber security of critical infrastructure and energy systems in particular. She works on smart grid data integrity attack characterization, detection, countermeasures and risk assessment of malicious attacks to the power system. She also collaborates with the Advanced Computing Solutions Office (ACS) at the lab where she works on information security and networking science. She designed and coded algorithms to analyse net flows with the goal of detecting anomalies and computer network attacks. Before starting at Los Alamos she was at the department of Electrical Engineering at UC Berkeley working on projects related to body sensor networks and critical infrastructure security. She has been the co-chair of several workshops on cyber security. She is a reviewer for international conferences, journal publications, and projects for both the US Department of Energy and the European Commission. She has a Master in mathematics from the University of Pisa, Italy and a Ph.D.  from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA. Before starting her Ph.D she was a researcher Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the Italian Research Counsel in Pisa.
